CEO Wolfgang Moyses will not be extending his contract scheduled to end on 31 October 2019 – almost 20 years as a member of the Management Board – successor is being sought
Kirn, 19 December 2018. Wolfgang Moyses, Chief Executive Officer of SIMONA AG, will not be extending his Management Board contract that is scheduled to end on 31 October 2019. Citing personal reasons, Mr. Moyses has decided to pursue a new challenge in his managerial career and will be taking up a different position by 1 November 2019 at the latest.
Following his departure from the Management Board of SIMONA AG, Mr. Moyses will continue to represent the interests of SIMONA as a member of the Board of Directors of the SIMONA AMERICA Group, thus overseeing the Group’s positive development in North America in a senior role.
Mr. Moyses has been a member of the Management Board of SIMONA AG since 1999 and was appointed CEO in 2003. He has been instrumental in shaping SIMONA’s success in the business arena and driving expansion forward at an international level.
The announcement of this decision well in advance has paved the way for the appointment of a successor for the position of CEO of the SIMONA Group. This also ensures a well-structured transition within the Management Board.
