SIMONA PMC Announces Temporary One Week Shutdown of Operations

SIMONA PMC Announces Temporary One Week Shutdown of Operations

We are closely monitoring the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the well-being of our employees, customers, suppliers and communities, as well as our order rate and operational capacity.

Today, we have made the decision that we will shut down our production operations for one week starting at 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2020.

We will continue to ship through Saturday, March 28, 2020. If materials are needed the following week, we would ask for 24 hour notice, but as always will do our best to meet emergency requests.

As the situation stands, we plan to reopen on Sunday, April 5, 2020. We will assess the situation, as well as any government directives, and make a formal announcement on the Wednesday prior to confirm the reopen date on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

To minimize the impact on our valued customers, our customer service, accounting, sales and engineering teams will continue to work from home, and will continue to provide all services as business as usual.

A reduced workforce will be working in the shipping and receiving department. All shipping and receiving orders will be handled by appointment only.

Thank you for your understanding and continued business.

Sincerely,

Lawrence J. Schorr
